Certification CAP Coatings are certified to confirm that the correct minimum dry film thickness (DFT) of paint to meet the required standard in accordance with the Building Code, has been applied to the substrate/s as specified. A “CAP Compliance Certificate” will be issued to the contractor who has purchased the coating following satisfactory completion and inspection. Details required prior to the issue of the “CAP Compliance Certificate” from the architect or owner’s representative should match details with respect to the building consent.
IMPORTANT: Under no circumstances will a CAP installation be certified unless Cap Coatings has issued a Signed Specification Acknowledgement to the (Painting) Contractor, PRIOR to the application of the coating.
